Wholesale Of Designer Goods Company?

We would like to buy from wholesalers or excess merchandise and resell it to boutiques or discount stores. We are looking to buy designer handbags/shoe/accessories to begin, then move to clothing. Here are a few questions:
How difficult is this to enter into?
What is necessary to get started?
How do we locate GOOD suppliers (100% auth. Goods)?
What is the average start up cost?
Where could we go to get better educated on this type of business?
What are the liabilities of doing this?
We just want to know if this is feasible? Also, can anyone tell me of good tradeshows for luxury goods? I think I saw one that was located in Las Vegas.
