What Kind Of Boots Can I Get That Are Appropriate For School And That Are Not Uggs?

I hate Uggs but I wanna wear boots for school. I want them to be kind of high but not trashy looking or anything. Any ideas? Links for a picture?

1. Are skinny jeans comfy? Not too tight?
2. Wear can I get leggings? With a lot of selections? Fish nets? Just the black ones?
3. Are Converse comfy? Are they uncomfortable?
