Should I Sell The Jewelry My Old Boyfriend Gave Me?

My EX and I broke up over a year ago (March 2007). No real drama there…it was just our time to go seperate ways.
We dated for 3 years and during that time, he gave me alot of jewelry. (Silver necklace from Tiffany, pearl earrings from James Avery, silver bracelet from James Avery, small heart diamond neclace (approx. $200), small diamond earrings (approx. $200) .
Its all very pretty…but its just not my style anymore. And really, It wasnt my style when he gave it to me…I just wore it because it was special to me because HE gave it to me.
Now that we’re not together… I dont know if I should keep it…for posterity’s sake…or if I should go ahead and sell it…since I’ll never wear any of it again.
As anyone ever been in a similar situation and what did you do?
OR…what would anyone do IF this happend?
I’m just looking for some friendly advice here!
